Over the years, Buddhism has evolved into a variety of forms – the Theravada (represented by Sri Lankan, Burmese and Thai Buddhism), the Mahayana (Chinese, Japanese and Korean Buddhism)and the Vajrayana (Tibetan and Mongolian Buddhism).
