Singapore Zoo’s world-famous “Open Concept” offers the opportunity to experience and be inspired by the wonders of nature. The Zoo has more than 2,400 specimens of over 300 species, 34 per cent of which are threatened. The Zoo has attained a strong reputation internationally for its conservation initiatives and breeding programmes. To better meet the healthcare needs of its animals and working towards its aspiration to become a leading global centre of excellence for veterinary healthcare and research, a purpose-built Wildlife Healthcare and Research Centre was set up in March 2006. Annually, approximately 1.9 million visitors enjoy experiential learning journeys at the 26-hectare award-winning Zoo. Singapore Zoo is part of Wildlife Reserves Singapore. The Zoo is a designated rescued wildlife centre by the governing authority.
Safe Management Measures at Singapore Zoo
Singapore Zoo have made operational adjustments across their four parks and this take effect from effect from 10 August 2021 when visiting the parks:
- Keep group size of up to 5 persons (including children and infants).
- Unvaccinated persons are encouraged to stay in groups of up to 2.
- Pre-book your visit date and time.
- Shows will admit up to 50 guests at a maximum of 5 pax per seating, including infants.
- Dining in will resume with up to 5 fully vaccinated guests per table. Exceptions are made for children aged 12 years and below so long as all children at a given table are from the same household. Proof of vaccination status and household address (for guests aged 12 and below) will be required.
- Unvaccinated guests will be able to purchase food for takeaway.
- For those who want to bring wildlife experiences right into your homes, choose from our range of virtual programmes and interact with our animals and their keepers remotely.

the singapore zoological garden adult ticket costs 48 dollars.i as a local chinese man with family money crisis can’t afford this cash.i wish the admission fees for adult will be free of charge.everything in the zoo must be affordable for the people living with no shelter.the tram ride ticket for adult must be free of charge.the food and drinks must be affordable for the people living with no shelter,no career cake.please make the zoo become free admission during festive season,like pre-deepavali,pre-christmas season.
