Procedure to apply for a Master of Architecture (MArch) in Singapore
- Although individual programs may have their own online application, applications to Singaporean universities are normally handled via the graduate office.
- The relevant faculty will typically make the admissions decision after carefully analyzing all submissions. A number of factors are taken into consideration throughout the evaluation process, such as previous degrees and academic performance, references, test scores, and a candidate’s career history.
Eligibility
- At least a bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited university
- Demonstrated relevant work experience and duration, in order to meet the Board of Architects’ requirements for enrolling in an accredited master’s program.
- If English is not your first language, you may be required to take the TOEFL or IELTS.
- Although not required, GRE scores will be considered if included in the application.

- Portfolio, awards, publications, etc. from academia and/or industry
- Valid passport
- Must have visa and offer from college and university
- Proof of funds
- Medical report
- Criminal offense record, if any

Admission criteria
- Applicants must produce proof of accreditation by a National Accreditation Board or the Board of Architects of the applicant’s country of origin, or the Board of Architects (Singapore), subject to approval by the Board of Graduate Studies.
- To be admitted to the M.Arch program, candidates must complete the Architectural Design track of the BA (Arch) concurrent degree (CDP) with a minimum CAP of 2.5 and a B- average in Year 4 Design.
