About Singapore Kadayanallur Muslim League
Singapore Kadayanallur Muslim League (SKML) was registered in August 1941 as a social welfare organisation to cater to the South Indian Muslim diaspora hailing from a little town called Kadayanallur in Tirunelveli district South India. As throngs of South Indian Tamil speaking Muslims looked to the then Malaya for their livelihood many settled in Penang and Singapore.
