It’s not just fiction in English that qualifies—poetry, plays, and short essays in all four official languages (English, Chinese, Malay, and Tamil) are included, as long as they are physical books written by Singaporeans or permanent residents.

Which bookstores can you visit?
The official list of participating bookstores will be finalized by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY). However, some local bookstores are expected to be included in this initiative.

How to Redeem Your SG Culture Pass for SingLit?
- Ensure you are eligible for the SG Culture Pass and that you have available credits. Each eligible Singaporean will receive $100 worth of credits.
- Choose Eligible SingLit Books
- Go to a bookstore approved by MCCY for SG Culture Pass redemption.
- redeem your SG Culture Pass credits before making payment.
- Use the SG Culture Pass digital platform (QR code or app-based system) to offset the cost of your purchase.
- If your book purchase exceeds your remaining credits, you can pay the balance using cash, card, or other accepted payment methods.
