Age at least 18 years old to open an individual CDP Securities account or Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) account to hold Savings Bonds.
If i use Central Provident Fund (CPF) Funds to buy saving bonds?
No, CPF funds cannot be used to invest in Savings Bonds.
What is the minimum holding period?
- To redeem your Savings Bonds as early as the month in which the bond is issued.
- Redemption proceeds will be paid out by the 2nd business day of the following month.

the goods and service tax causes essential and non-essential needs to increase prices like a sky-rocket.i wish the government will waive away the goods and service tax to save the citizens.hopefully,the government of singapore will stop getting sky-high monthly salary to end inflation in the singapore society.i wish deflation will fall in singapore society right now.
