How to scan, unlock and ride a SG Bike, Singapore?

Types of bicycles
- Standard Series: Lightweight, $0.03/min*, Convenient
- Premium Series: Fun, $0.06/min*, Unique. Includes mountain bike, baby seats attachments, children bicycles. You have to return these bicycles within designated areas.
Download the SG Bike app on Apple (iPhone/iPad / mac) / Android (Google Play) / Huawei app gallery
- Download the iOS App Store or Google Play Store or Huawei app gallery.
- Create an account by signing-up (Follow the instructions).
- You’ll receive OTP (One time password) number on your mobile.
- Link your credit/debit card to SG Bike account.
- Click “Menu” – “My Wallet” – “TopUp”/Balance”.
- Click on Red add card icon (Above Payment Button).
- Enter the details and click “Done”.
- You can view Visa/Mastercard/Amex Card logo at the bottom after verification.
How to Unlock SG Bike/Bicycle?
- You can unlock bike via QR CODE/MANUAL INPUT.
- Click “Unlock” and Scan the QR code on the bicycle’s lock or handle bar (Turned on ‘Bluetooth’ to avoid issues with lock/unlocking).
- Enter the bicycle number into the app.
- Make sure whether the input number is correct.
NOTE: Cameras are not allowed on your devices. iOS is temporarily unavailable.
How can end ride at SG Bike?
- Find the Parking area and lockup your bicycle.
- Check your phone and tap “End Trip”.
- Scan the parking QR Code (Located at the corner of yellow box/ wall).
- Your trip will be end.
Where to park bikes at SG Bike, Singapore?
SG Bike will appear as ‘Red Icons‘. You can check the pricing before unlocking and that the ID code on the SG Bike matches the one displayed on the app.
Parking spots: Appears only after unlocking an SG Bike. If you are unable to find an SG Bike, please refresh the app and zoom out to check if there are any SG Bikes in your area.
How to use SG Bike Ride Pass?
SG Bike Ride Pass is a subscription that allows 30 minutes free trips with a charge of $0.03 per subsequent minute.
- Purchase the SG Bike Ride Pass via “My Wallet” – “SG Bike Pass” (or)
- By redeeming a coupon in “My Wallet” – “Coupons”.
- Expiry date can be found under “SG Bike Pass” or under your profile name in the menu.
- SG Bike Ride Pass is not considered a balance, it will not be reflected under “Balance”.
- Auto-renewal of the SG Bike Ride Pass is enabled upon purchase.

Ride unlimited free trips, or opt to pay from your e-wallet whenever you use our services! Whichever option you pick, you’ll get to enjoy the convenience of bike sharing anytime, anywhere!
Subscription:
- Standard series Bicycles: Unlimited 30 minutes trip of 7/30 days ride pass option.
- Price: $0.03 per minute thereafter.
- Not applicable to premium series bicycles (standard pay per use rates applies)
- Automatically renewed unless cancelled
Payment modes
- E-wallet top-ups only made via bank card.
- Purchases of the SG Bike Ride Pass will be deducted from the SG Bike e-wallet balance.
- If you’ve insufficient balance, deductions will be made directly from the linked bank card.
How to report about the stolen bike during the trip?
If your Bike was stealing/damaging/vandalising contact police department and email to: support@sgbike.com.sg
Include your name, contact number, residential address, location of theft, and a screenshot of the trip details in Email.
Note: Compensation for case of theft or damages caused by user negligence are reserved by SG Bike.
