What is ERP?
ERP is an Electronic Road Pricing system in Singapore which collects toll and manage road congestion in Singapore. Drivers will get ERP Charges / rates while crossing the ERP gantries / toll during it’s operational hours
ERP Singapore Weekdays, Peak operational hours
ERP Weekdays operational hours: Mondays to Saturdays, starting from as early as 7AM to 8PM
Peak ERP operational hours: 08:35 am – 08:55 am
ERP Rates / Charges on Weekdays, Sundays, Public holidays
Sundays and Public holidays: Free
- ERP stops operating at 1 pm on the eve of New Year’s Day, Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, Deepavali and Christmas Day.
- ERP rates are revised every quarter and will be adjusted every June and December School holidays depends on the traffic conditions
- ERP rates are adjusted to keep traffic moving at an optimal speed range of 20-30 kmh on arterial roads and 45-65 kmh on expressways.

How to pay ERP Charges in Singapore?
All the Singapore registered vehicles must have IU (In Vehicle Unit) installed while driving through ERP Gantries.
Penalty charge for those do not have an IU: $70.00 (For each operating ERP gantry passing through)
Where to install an IU?
You can do at the LTA authorised IU centres which costs $155.80 (inclusive of 7% GST). Warranty must be 5 year

- Others (OTH)
- Outer Ring road area (ORR)
- Pan Island Expressway (PIE)
ERP for foreign-registered vehicles (Cars / Motorcycles, Good vehicles, Taxis and Buses)
Foreign -registered Passenger Cars, Motorcycles
- Either you can install temporary detachable IU at the LTA authorised IU centres which costs $155.80 (inclusive of 7% GST) (OR)
- Rent an IU for $5.15 per day from Woodlands or Tuas Checkpoint. Pay refundable deposit of $124.65
- You can rent upto 2 weeks from 2 days
Foreign -registered goods-vehicles, taxis and buses
- Install IU at the LTA authorised IU centres which costs $155.80 (inclusive of 7% GST)
