What are the events to be held on Singapore Day?
1. National Gallery Singapore: The National Gallery Singapore lights up in celebration of the holiday season. If you’ve seen previous displays, you’ll know what to expect. Exhibitions and digital art programs are also part of the gallery’s programming.
From now until August 31st, from 7.30 pm to midnight, the gallery facade will be illuminated with our national colors.
2. Local drinks and bites at Mo Bar: On National Day, there’s nothing better than sipping cocktails and nibbling on Singapore-inspired fare against the stunning backdrop of the Marina Bayfront.
Indulge in cocktails such as the Roaring City (made with vermouth and pineapple tepache mixed with Prosecco), Lantern (a nod to our popular chicken rice dish), and Thunder (inspired by the herbaceous thunder tea rice).
3. Creamier’s local brekkie ice cream: Creamier has teamed up with Kim Guan Guan, a local coffee roaster, to create a limited-edition line of ice cream flavors inspired by Singaporean favorites like kopi peng, teh peng, and kaya toast.
4. Local-inspired gifts at Supermama: Congratulations to Supermama on the opening of its new stores at the National Museum of Singapore and the Asian Civilizations Museum.
5. Creamery Boutique Ice Creams: This year, Creamery Boutique ice creams are offering a variety of National Day special bundles, including pints, scoops, and lava cookies. This month, crowd favorites like ondeh ondeh and Nutella lava cookies will be available.
